Our Gap Tale

Opened in 2023 and proudly locally owned, Fancy Gap Country Store sits right off the Blue Ridge Parkway as a fun, perky stop for travelers and locals. We serve our famous BBQ, delicious lunches, hearty dinners, Chocolate Shope 24 Premium Ice Cream, and offer a country store stocked with local gifts—all true to who we are.

Every Thursday night brings live bluegrass music, and weekends feature our Fine-Dine Steak Evenings, creating a cozy, elevated mountain dinner experience guests return for again and again. With everything rooted in what we truly offer, we’re committed to making Fancy Gap a must-stop destination.
